If I choose to delete all but one audio tract from the main movie and one of the deleted audio tract's was the default tract for the movie will DVD Rebuilder set the audio tract left to default?

Thanks

no you have to remap it manually

However you do that.
I've been using Shrink to delete the audio I don't want and to compress the Menu because Shrink automatically defaults the largest audio file on the main movie that is left. But now I have two movies that do not have audio on the trailer and the trailer is the only part on the extra's that I like.
The files that Shrink leaves me play the audio on the trailer but when DVD Rebuilder is finished with the files I have no audio on the trailer, happened to two movies so far.
It would be nice if DVD-RB could set the flag for the audio that is left to default and if it could also compess the menu :)
That way I wouldn't have to use Shrink first. Because something is going on betweenthe Shrink files and DVD-RB that is causing missing audio on the trailers.

has nothing to do with shrink.

you removed the default track, rebuilder (to my knowledge) doesnt update the flags to fix that.

Run it through rebuilder first, ,then shrink, as shrink will remap i believe (dont quote me on that)

I'll give it a try with DVD-RB first then Shrink and see what happens.
Thanks

I just remembered why I was using Shrink first. On the longer movies that are over 2 hours I was Shrinking Memu's and sometimes Extra's to make more room for the Movie giving me more bitrates for the movie which was helping with the quality. Since I was in Shrink I would also delete all audio I didn't want on the main movie cause I knew that Shrink would remap to the audio left as default.
But I'm losing sound for the trailers when DVD-RB does it's thing.

it might ahve to do with shrink remapping

not the easy answer but.

write down your steps with shrink but dont do it, only the amount of space saved.

run rebuilder, and use rb-opt (in this forum) to oversize your disk by the amount you will save shrinking

then shrink afterwards.

When you bring up DVD-RB and import the DVD files how can you tell which audio tract is the default for the movie?

rebuilder doesnt do this

youeither have to check the ifo's or just put the disc in your player and see what plays :)
