The first picture is the lossless huffyuv source. The following picture is DivX5 MPEG-4 encoded with the ffdshow codec from the huffyuv source.
Now, this isn't easy to see, but if you compare them closely next to each other, you will notice that the ffdshow version is somewhat darker in hue. This is the case with anything encoded in the ffdshow library of codecs (lossless jpg, XviD, you name it). Why?
