The BTWincap driver should support PAL-60. What exactly is it that does not work?

what capture prog are you using?

In VirtualVCR you can find it under settings, video tab, device settings button, video decoder tab, video standard pull-down menu.

Forgive me if I ask a stupid question, but you are trying to change it for the composite/s-video in and not for the TV-tuner? Because PAL-60 does not exist as a broadcast standard, only as output from VCR's and such.

I use iuvcr, but i tried virtualvcr too.It offers NTSC_M, NTSC_M_J, PAL_B, PAL_D, PAL_G, PAL_H, PAL_I, PAL_M, PAL_N, SECAM_B, SECAM_D, SECAM_G, SECAM_H, SECAM_K, SECAM_K1, SECAM_L and unknown.And also the VCR input chekbox is not allowed. And the VCR and the Capture are connected via composite cable.

I just checked the driver (don't have that card installed at the moment), and the BTWincap driver V5.3.8 should be able to do PAL_60 on a BT878 based card (not if BT848, but those are ancient by now :) )

So I am baffled.

The VCR checkbox has to to with how horizontal sync is generated by the source and adjusting the card for that. You can switch it on for VCR and off for TV, but it does not make a huge amount of difference, sometimes the number of dropped frames is reduced a tiny bit by playing with it. My philips card offers the option, but not all cards do. Anyway, it has nothing to do with source selection and is not the cause of your problems.

Another stupid question: you are sure the BTWincap driver is actually active, your windows has not plug-and-prayed an older (original) capture driver in place? Because most BT878 manufacturers drivers do not offer the PAL_60 option.

If you have it active, it should say something like "Illusion & Hope", "Conexant's BtPCI WDM Video Capture" in the device manager.

I finally get what's wrong - my card is bt848 and from the beggining I get with the wrong idea for it. Sorry i lost your time

Interesting but it works with the drivers for bt878.
