Can I specify if AutoGk must or not doing the deinterlace?
This is useful for the video got from TV, when only a part is interlaced/deinterlaced, and I'am interested only at the part interlaced/deinterlaced (sometimes the deinterlace is not doing, or it is doing when when I don't want that with a loss of quality)
Thanks.

use Gordian Knot (not auto) it has an option to deinterlace (decomb avisynth filter) this filter knows which frames are interlaced or not.

Please stop confusing others, Spyn!
Any decent deinterlacer knows when to deinterlace and when not (including KernelDeInt that is used by AutoGK that can be used almost without any harm on progressive source in most cases). So no manual improvement is possible unless you apply deinteracing to a frame range.

he said that autoGK deinterlace frames that are note interlaced so i believe it, i know that GK don't do that, that's why i said him to use it.
i don't know how autoGK works, sorry...

GK uses the same deinterlacing principle as AutoGK, so they can't be different... (the only difference being that with GK you can leave source interlaced if you know that only small part of it is)

The problem happens, for example, when there is a tv spot not interlaced at the start of the recording, and the other part is interlaced.
Thanks

Do you actually see any degradation of video when deinterlacing is applied to progressive parts? If yes, then you can manually adjust threshold of KernelDeInt filter from hidden options (CTRL-F9).

The option "Force deiterlacing when source was detected as hybrid" is the option I was searching.
Thanks.

Does source get detected as hybrid? If no, then its not the option you should be using (it'll make no diference whatsoever).

I must see the log file to see if the mpeg is detected as hybrid?
