You can't. :rolleyes: Use CoreAAC decoder.

in fact you can but not directly ...
azerty.aac -> coreAAC decoder -> ac3filter -> audio renderer
use PCM decoding input for ac3 filter activation

I use the method Sagittaire posted to reencode HE-AAC 5.1 to AC-3 5.1 so my AC-3 capable receiver can decode it again. My soundcard does not have multichannel analog outputs (Terratec EWX 24/96) but it has a SP-DIF output. In this way I can listen to AAC multichannel streams.
