VirtualDubMod questions

I hope I am overlooking something obvious, but I had two questions. Where exactly in VirtualDub do you tell it where to capture your AVI file to? Second, and more importantly, when I hit Capture, the program stops with an error "Access violation in capture routine". Bummer. Has anyone got a simple solution to this (I hope)? I have a ATI AIW, so I have the option of using ATI's capture. Thanks for any help.:(

After you have gone to CAPTURE AVI from the file menu, then from the new file menu choose SET CAPTURE FILE. You must change this everytime you capture unless to are doing sequence capture.

I have four ATI AIW cards and they all work with VD but I think you need to install the VDF2WDM wrapper which you can get from me if you cannot find elsewhere.

Thanks for the help. As a follow up, updating my build of VirtualDub got rid of the Access error I was getting.
