I just wanted to say that dvdshrink is the best program ever dor ripping DVDs, but not only because its free, it decripts and all the things that say in the web page, but also because the installer is just 1.06 Mb compared with other programs like DVD X Copy Platinum tha cost over 50 dollars and cant even Decrypt, incredible, good job.
Maybe in the next version they shoul put an option to divide the DVD in two DVDs without compression besides all the features already have.

It's obvious you haven't ripped any recent DVDs with Sony's new copy protection, ArccoS. No versions of DVD Shrink up to 3.2 can rip these with success. DVD Decrypter is now a must to use for ripping these problematic DVDs (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46190).
Also, if you didn't know, DVD Shrink has ceased on further development. That means what you got, is what you got. No more new versions. :(

Not so sure about that, dvd shrink has failed with 24 series 3 disk 5 (though it did 1-4 ok), PC keept crashing though I managed to rip with dvd decrypter and then shrink afterward with dvd shrink.

DVD Shrink is no doubt an excellent transcoder, but for the ripping and burning processes I rely on DVD Decrypter.

You can do that manually with DVD Shrink already.
