As they say.. i did some searching and didnt find anything on the subject ;) My question is.. ive noticed that if i make small .iso (ive only tested 24 -> about 120 MB ) with imagetool and mount it w/daemon tools.. DD calls it an invalid disk (explorer and smartripper do fine with it ). wondering if DD is refusing the small size out-right? (i recall it not even liking a dvd i burned that was < 100 mb)

<edit>
tested on a dvd-rw (burned with nero).. dvd-dec had no problem with it.. so i suppose its daemontools and/or img-tool classic.. still odd that smartripper can handle the iso-mounted version

Smartripper just isnt looking for a dvd. It's kinda 'dumb' about what it does.

All 'DVD' functions fail on DAEMON Tools if the image you've mounted isn't over 1GB in size.

That's one of the reasons I added the 'Create DVD MDS File' feature in the Tools menu.

Make an MDS file for the ISO and mount the MDS instead.
