Setting Filesize help

Firstly, I have looked everywhere for a similar problem to no avail.
XviD 1.01, I can set the filesize to whatever I like
XviD 1.02 and 1.03, I try to set it to, say, 600MB, but the file always ends up around 160MB.

I've tinkered with the settings, as much as I can (admittedly, I'm a noob and am rather unfamiliar with AVSynth scripting).

If any specific details (computer type, etc.) are required, I'll fill them in as necessary.

Sounds like a case of dirty install. Did you install the latest build on top of your previous without uninstalling it first? If so, then that's the reason for undersizing. You should always uninstall and then do a clean install.

There must be atleast a 100 threads here where the same issue has been discussed.;)
