Hi, I have 3 Boxed sets of episode DVD's which I would like to backup to DVD-R's... I have found a guide by searching the forums, but I'm confused about the beginning instructions of the guide, Specifically, step 1 (seems silly eh...). Each DVD contains 5 episodes. I dont want to sacrifice any quality so I want to put 4 episodes per DVD and split 4 DVDs across 5 DVD-R's creating new menus for each, ignoring extrans and all the other junk... if I really want that then i can dig the boxed set out... but honestly, i dont even watch them (unless you're talking about back to the future).
That's it... if somebody could please explain what is meant by authoring a single titleset IU would greatly appreciate it.
I have a feeling i'm getting into a really complicated project with this one... especially with the bit about shuffling episodes across dvd's... chapters makes it complicated.

Here are the Step 1 instructions - the problem is with number 1.
1. re-author a single titleset from whatever DVD you happen to have at hand and cut it to 1 min with 'Set Start/End Frames' in the DVD compilation window
2. select 1 audio and no subtitle stream in the compression settings tab
3. backup to iso and generate an mds-file for it with DVD Decrypter
4. mount this mds-file in Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools
5. demux audio and video stream using DVD Decrypter in ifo mode (enable Stream Processing and check 'demux')
6. import your dummy assets in DVD-lab.
Thanks!
