Hi ! I'm trying to encode an avi using MainConcept MPEG Encoder (v1.04.02) which worked fine for me usually, but I have troubles with it lately.

My output is all scrambled. Everything is a shade of green and both the horizontal and vertical lines are way off (like the image was enlarged somewhat and now has a faulty horizontal offset, about 25 - 33% I'd say).

The original is a 640 x 480, 23.976 fps, DivX 5.0 encoded avi file. I want to convert it to a PAL mpeg-2 video stream (720 x 576, 25 fps).

Anyone has a clue where it's going wrong ? I've tried some things I found here, like trying to frameserve with Avisynth (2.5), but that results in either no changes at all (when I just launch the file using either avisource or directshowsource) or it results in totally solid green video when I try to convert it to RGB (I read that it could help, when your color output is off)

I also tried using CCE. The colors aren't off here, but I end up with completely blurry video, which I don't want.

Any ideas ?
