CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY WHEN I COPY A DVD IT TAKES ME 5 HOURS TO RECODE. AND IS THERE ANYWAY TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS??

sorry prog. is dvd shrink 3.2
it works perfectly just takes 5 hrs to recode a movie

1) What's your system specs?
2) What's your backup process? (e.g. rip,transcode, and burn with DVD Shrink)
3) Do you have programs in the background hogging up resources while shrinking? e.g. Norton doing a scheduled full virus scan? Check in Task Manager and inquiry on your CPU use % during process.
4) Is this DVD, in question, the only one giving you problems?
5) Is your HD defragged prior to using DVD Shrink?
6) If you have AEC on, what happens to your time now when processing again?
7) What DVD are you working on and how big is it?
8) Maybe a virus?
9) Improper hardware installation and settings?
