Hello,

I've made a backup of one of my films with the Big 3 method. The original has no stream of subtitles but I've added one.

I'm used to do that with DvdMaestro and also with Scenarist, converting text subtitles to bmp, and I thought I already knew how to solve the usual problems, but now...

May be is because I'm using Scenarist with the Big 3, the thing is that after compiling and using ifoupdate I play with Powerdvd and find that there are not subtitles (just the same as in my original).

Then I open ifoedit and active the stream writing in its status -2147483648, but when I try to save the ifo I get this message: The Ifo endsector does not match with the file size.

I would appreciate some help.

Sorry, it's too late and I'm stupid. I've just realized that I had added the subtitles to the track editor, but I didn't cleared that same track in the scenario editor. Now I've changed that track for mine with the subtitles. I'm compiling and I think now this is going to work.

Well, I was wrong. I still need some help.
Scenarist compiled without the subtitles.

When I try to simulate that track with the added subtitles that I dragged to the scenario editor it says: "Subpicture streams (0) is not available."

I should have gone to bed. Now I found out that I needed to tick the subpicture stream box in the property browser. Well, I didn't know. Sorry.

well, congrats on getting it sorted, and for posting your results.

i just wanted to clear up one small point:I've just realized that I had added the subtitles to the track editor, but I didn't cleared that same track in the scenario editor. Now I've changed that track for mine with the subtitles. this step was uneccesary. simply adding the subtitles and setting the subpicture avaliability flag in the property browser (scenario editor) would have been sufficient.
