hi there im a newbie to capping and im havin real difficulties with sound or lack of. im using an aver media video cap card with composite l/r audio and video connection which are plugged in to my lineout on my vcr. i get great video but no audio whats so ever with the 2 progies ive used, them been virtual vcr and iuvcr. the audio is in pcm format, thanks in advance for any helpss with this...

did you activate your input channel (line in or what ever you use)

hi daphy ..well it may or may not be stupid question,,but what do u mean by line in,,,,,and how would i know if i did. i have soundblaster on board audio..thanx in advance

take a look at your windows sound control (I´m using a German Windows version so I don´t know exactly the terms for the English version) -> must be under file, there you can change the options from input and output/record or whatever sounds simular in this content (you will see this menue by default) chose input setting and another mixing board should apear where you can select your input 'channel'
