Okay here's my dilema... I have a collection of mp3s that I would like to use CL's DPLII audio processor filter to upmix them, preferably during playback. I listen to them only while at my computer (right next to my bed), on Logitech Z5300 speakers so, i'd rather not take the time to transcode to a different format just to permenantly add the other 4 channels (too many files not enough time if i don't have to).
My problem is, I have everything nicely set up, except when using cyberlink's filter in a 3rd party's player. It DOES NOT save the settings applied. So i'd have to go into the dialogue each and every time and set it up correctly again.
Alternatively i've been trying to find a good batch method of converting 2ch mp3s to 6ch aac, once again using cyberlink's filter. This is really starting to annoy me, as i've spent atleast 2 months searching (off and on.. i'm not that crazy) for an efficient method.
Thanks in advance, BTW! This site rocks. Took me from a codec pack using, no knowledge of encoder/decoder function n00b. To a fully certified n00b A/V-phile.
If all else fails, i've finally broken down to the point where i'm ready to write my own frontend to take care of the conversion process. Just need to brush up on my coding, it's been years hehe.
