Hi,

I have a "Sapphire 9200 Atlantis ViVo" card with "Radeon 9200" and I like to set the default mode for TV-input to PAL instead NTSC. There is a jumper already set to PAL but it seems to be responsible only for TV-out, and not for TV-in. obviously NTSC_M is the default mode. I am able to switch manually to PAL_B by the capture software VirtualVCR. But the problem is that this configuration obviously gets lost if I boot and it can be done only manually and not by a permanent configuration of VirtualVCR. That means that I am not able to use my PC as video recorder with a timer starting the PC from the Bios and starting then VirtualVCR as I like to do.

What can I do? Is there any registry entry setting PAL permanently or any small program switching to PAL which I could call from autostart folder or any different driver I could install? I heard also from grafic cards (ELSA) with replaceble BIOS which determines PAL or NTSC but I did'nt found any corresponding information at www.ati.com.

Thank you for any help

Try looking in the .INF file of the capture card driver. Often any registry settings related to the driver are listed in there.
