Is there anyway to tell what the delay of the ac3 file is inside the vob? without having to create a DGIndex or DVD2AVI project file to do it, nor use smart ripper (since it doesn't work on here)?
I am using BeSweet to encode VOB directly to MP3, and I would prefer to not have to demux the audio when I make a project file to find out the delay, because it is unnecessary since I am using BeSweet. However, I still need the delay value so when I mux the audio into the final xvid stream it will be in-sync.

i believe that when going directly from .vob to .mp3, besweet will use the delay that it finds and apply it to the encoded mp3. check the logfile for evidence of this.

yeah, you're right about that
