View Full Version : Scenarist: Subpicture in one menu is not visible.

Hi there,

I'm making a DVD with a lot of menus (14) that referr to each other. You can read my last thread for a more detailed description of the project. I made a sort of "template"-menu and copied that over and over again, each time replacing the video element afterwards. So in theory, I should have 14 identical menu's (except for the video-layer, obviously).
But when I build the DVD, and check it out from Harddisk using PowerDVD, one of the menus isn't showing the subpicture. The Highlight-layer is working, 'cause you can still navigate (as long as you remember where the highlight is).
When I view this menu in previewmode in scenarist, the subpicture IS visible. I built the menu again and added it to the PGC again, but the problem remains.

The only thing I haven't tried is burning a DVD, and check it out on a stand alone. I wanted to wait until I figured this out, but now I'm stumped.

Is there anyone with a sugestion where this problem might be coming from?

Yours,
Andra

does the subpic layer coincide with the scene start? You can always attach your script file for us to view? What version of scenarist are you running?

Hi there again.

Here's a zip-file with the scenarist script and everything. There's also a little read me pointing to the menu that's giving a problem.

Thanks,

Andra

P.S.
I burned the project to a RW, but the problem remains...
