I have a DVD which has subtitles in 6 languages. I want to rip the DVD using AutoGK. AutoGK has a subtitle ripping option, setting it to "external subtitles" option should give me an idx file and a rar file with the selected subtitle stream.
My question is is it possible to rip all the subs into a single idx and rar file combination so that the user can select which ever subtitle he wants at playback time? I hope I can do it in AutoGK bcoz then only it will split the subtitle file correctly based on the video.
Please help me.

If I understand correctly, you want one subtitle for the 6 languages, separately. well that is exactly what idx and sub do :)
If autoGK doesn't let you choose but one language, use vobsubconfigure(not directvobsub) in the vobsub package, open your IFO file in it, don't touch anything else, but OK, and you'll have your wish granted. Any language you don't wish ripped, use the arrows in the app to move them back to the left box(make sense when you see it).Bear in mind these are big subtitles, @around 10-15 mb on average)

Hi-
Yeah, you'll have to do it on your own, if you want more subs than AutoGK will let you have.
As a followup to niamh's post; to cut them after having followed his fine directions (hi niamh :)), use the Cutter utility also included with VobSub. To find where to cut, open part one of the AutoGK split AVI, go to the end, and write down the time of the last frame. Use that time as the split point for the 2 idx/sub files you're going to make. And don't forget to rename them the same as the movie. For example, MoviePart1.idx and .sub, and MoviePart2.idx and .sub. Test to make sure that they're in synch with the audio. Rar up the .sub file for each.
