In http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=88659, doc_cyclops, a brand new member, has posed a problem with the transfer of 8mm film to video. He plans on using DV as a component of of the solution.
I moved the thread from Analog Capture to the AviSynth forum, since the bulk of his questions were on managing frame rate transitions with .avs scripts.
But I thought I'd mention the thread, in case there's someone in the DV community with sufficient expertise that might be able to simplify his solution.
