View Full Version : IfoEdit crashing - any ideas?

I've got 2 discs, both are single episodes but the same series, which will crash IfoEdit's "Menu Extras" menu. The menu will come up but clicking on OK leads to an attempt to reference memory at location 0 and a crash. This happens with both versions 0.96 and 0.971 of ifoedit.

It only seems to happen with these two silver discs. Everything else is just fine. My guess is there's something goofy in the original VIDEO_TS.IFOs which is causing this crash.

The crashes first showed up when I was using DVDStripper. It appears the last thing DVDStripper does is automate the ifoedit reindexing of the menus.

Has anyone else encountered this? If so, how do you "heal" the IFO?

I've been able to manually edit with PgcEdit which solves the short-term issue but doesn't actually fix the error condition.

Try to mock strip the menus - yes, in IfoEdit. :)
