trying to encode a dvd to divx with GK, and when BeSweet creates the audio file to be used in encoding, i get a really odd, annoying sound in between chapters.....its the same sound, every time. what is going on here??
sample of what i mean is attatched. anyone had this problem before? when i play the VOBs through powerdvd, this noise is not present.
thanks in advance.
using besweet 1.4 btw....and as far as commands...i'm leaving audio at 128kb mp3 cbr.

irregardless, ive tested with another DVD and dont have the same problem....so that's that!

yeah, you might want to update BeSweet, post a logfile if the newest beta produces the same problem on that movie

actually, i WAS using the version that came with the newest GK, but reverted to see if that was the problem. Here's another question...lets say i opened the created sound file in Sound Forge or Cool Edit, and deleted the 2 seconds with those noises, and replaced with silence (so as to not offset the sync)....what would i use to re-merge the video file with the edited audio? virtual dub? just an idea.
also, where does a besweet log file get outputted to...the same directory as where the video is eventually saved to?
thanks for the reply.
