DVD Decryptor breaks the main part of a movie into 1 GB sections (when it saves to hard disc). Is it possible to change settings such that it breaks it into smaller, say 700 MB sections? Thanks

Look in IFO Mode file splitting size option.

Well, that seemed simple enough, but it didn't work. It still broke it into 1 GB files. So maybe I also need to change something in File Mode? Or before I rip it, do I switch "Mode" to IFO instead of File? Thanks.

Tools>Settings...>File mode Tab.
Options area> File Splitting(default is By File) change this to 700MB.
you can do the same for ifo mode and iso read mode too.

Ami I going blind? I checked and checked in File Mode tab and there is NO file splitting for 700MB there. It's definitely in IFO mode tab.

To reiterate on previous posts in this thread. Set the file splitting size in IFO mode tab in settings. You must then be in IFO mode. Select the PGC you want to break up.

Even Smartripper has a size splitting to whatever custom size you want for your movie. If you want to split 1 MB VOBs, it'll do it for you. But, I don't want to add anymore confusion for you.

oops, you are right. no 700MB in file mode.
guess i was looking at the ifo tab.
