View Full Version : Compress two dvds on a run with the Big 3 method?

Hello,

I have been using DoitFast4U, Reauthorist and DoCCE4U to backup some of my dvds.
Some times I have in my PC two or more dvds demuxed with DoCCE4U and I would like to compress them all on a run. I didn't find the way with DoCCE4U.
Now that I'm about to change to Scenaid and BatchCCEWS, because everybody seems to have changed to them long ago, I'm wondering if there's a way to do that.

This is my question:
Is it possible to make several compress jobs on a run with BatchCCEWS or DoCCE4U using the streams demuxed by DoCCE4U?

Thanks in advance.

Of course this is possible. If you just combine the content of your cce.txt files (or whatever input file you use) and feed this file to docce/batchccews you can encode all the files in one run.

Thanks, I have to try it.

The thing is I was used to load the Reauthorist_DoCCE.txt in DoCCE4U, because of the resize I make sometimes after changing bitrates in extras. Once I tried to load two Reauthorist.txt from different demux and something was wrong. That's why I was asking. May be it was a problem of DoCCE and that doesn't happen with BatchCCeWS

Anyway, how could I make that resize if I don't use Reauthorist any more? Because If I load the cce.txt, it has the bitrate values that DoitFast4U has fixed.

Well scenaid will have a bitrate function in the near future hopefully ;)

In the meantime you can use RA to calculate the values and manually input those into the ccedata.txt.
