I used DVD Shrink to backup a commercial DVD to my HD. I can not remember how to now burn it to DVD. I backed up three DVDs this past summer sucessfully, so I know I can do it. I'm trying to burn with ImgTool Classic v 0.91.3. I get an error message saying

ERROR "mkisofs" reports some errors. See log for details.

When I look at the log it says:

/cygdrive/d/Video/ImgTool/Classic_0.91.3/Classic_0.91.3/mkisofs: Permission denied. Unable to open disc image file

The structure of the source is D:/Video/<Movie Title>/VIDEO_TS/

The files in the directory are

VIDEO_TS.ifo
VIDEO_TS.bup
VTS_01_0.ifo
VTS_01_0.bup
VTS_01_1.vob
VTS_01_2.vob
VTS_01_3.vob
VTS_01_4.vob
VTS_01_5.vob

I've been at this for hours and I'm geting really PO'd. What am I missing?

hi and welcome to the forum,

if you want the final output to be a burnable iso file, the easiest way is to specifiy so in dvdshrink - it has the ability to output to *.iso files directly. perhaps you'll need to download a newer version of the program though!

Well you could get DVDDecrypter (free), from you HD 'open files' with DVDShrink 3.2 and set it to create ISO and burn with Decrypter.
