First of all, I'm relatively new to the site, so forgive me if this question is in the wrong category or a repeated thread. I'm sure a moderator will move it accordingly. I would like less compression on my backups (Preserve more quality) and by simple logic that means I need to get rid of other features of the DVD. I have been using DVD decryptor to rip the DVDs (Since it has a "remove PUOs option") and DVD shrink to encode them. I've been using the "replace with an image" function, but I assume there's a way to actually remove parts of the DVD and edit the menues accordingly. I'm interested in removing such sections as region warnings, DVD features, etc. (If not to conserve space on the DVD then for the aesthetics of the entire project, FBI warnings are not something I enjoy sitting/fast forwarding through.) If there is any way to do this, please help.

You will be able to find all the info you need in the ifo/vob editors forum. (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=50) ;)

Hi Liquidrave.

Probably the 2 tools for you are PgcEdit and VobBlanker, both of which have large threads in this forum.

VobBlanker can blank on a cell basis and can cut PGCs while PgcEdit can blank whole titlesets in a mouse click or two. It also has a wonderful command editor and many other features.

There are some great guides to using PgcEdit, accessible on its site - look for 2COOL's guides (check the sticky at the top of this forum) and a guide by Jeanl on skipping direct to the main menu.

VobBlanker comes with an extensive help file.
