I've been trying to decode close captioning data from MPEG2 Transport Streams *.ts, I've been experimenting with the tools on McPoodle's website, I read that with the General Parser, maybe I could extract them, I went through the project files, and found some intersting ones that had to do with ATSC close captioning, but the tool is a little bit complicated. What I'm trying to achieve is to encode these files to MPEG4, and have subtitles for them.
I will also like to know if there is any way of just playing back these *.ts files, with the close captions, I've tried with the Line 21 output from some MPEG2 video decoders but I haven't had any luck.
