I use DVD Rebuilder and CCE basic, and then then burn with Nero. Does the burning speed have any effect on qualty?
I ask this because I once backed up a DVD of an old 1970's Christmas show. The video on the original disc is not the best to begin with. I made a back up burning at 4x, thought it looked bad, and burned again at 2.4x and thought it looked as good as the original.
After the above incident, I started burning all my back-ups at 2.4x just to ensure the best quality back-up. But since I am relatively new to backing up DVDs, I would like to confirm this with those more knowledgeable. Is there is a correlation between slower burn speed and better back-up disc picture quality?
Thanks
