That did it! Decrypted perfectly and Shrink burned it without incident and no audio sync problems.

Thanks

yeh... new decrypter works fine... I first tried ripping only title 1 [widescreen]... but dvd2one would not process it. I finally ripped all the files [both wide & 4x3 versions =14 titles all]... & it did process OK with the shrink utility. Something about the added sectors that dvd2one doesn't like..??... sure hate to rip all the files just for the main title..??

I am still having problems with this title. I ripped the movie several ways and they all finished, using latest version. However, I can not do anything with the files. I do not want to back up to dvd-r. I want to encode to divx, xvid or ND.

First I tried to rip in File mode (All files) and import that into Nero Recode to encode to ND. Nero finished however the file is black in the begining and can only be played after Fast fowarding into it.

Next I tried IFO mode (Main Movie) and import into AutoGK to encode into xvid. AutoGK gave no error, however the avi does not play any audio. The audio file is there but just won't play or is blank.

Last I tried Stream Proccessing and Demux video & audio file.
I tried to import them into Maestro, video imported and was shown as 5 minute movie, audio would not import. I ran it through AC3Machine and then imported it. Showed up as 5Min 20Sec.

I know this is probably not DVDDecryptor's fault. i was just wondering if there is something in the program's settings that I might not know about to help me with my problem?

If you're ripping in IFO mode you need to uncheck the cells marked with a .

These are the dummy ones that cause the 'blank' bit before the film.

cool. I'll try that. That should solve my xvid encode. I prefer to encode in Nero if possible. Nero Digital wants me to rip the whole disk though. And I am getting the blank video in my Nero encode as well. Any ideas there? Should I just do it in IFO mode and re-author then pass through Nero? Or is there a setting in File mode that would solve this?

Would this be the solution to RE2 as well?

Thanx UK. This is my first time I posted kinda directly to you, so I just wanted to say that ALL these programs would not be as useful without you and DVDDecryptor.

Yup, pretty much any original that comes up with 'possible structure protection found!' in the log, will need the cells marked with a unticked.

Thanx Dude,

That worked great.

How can we remove the dummy cells in file mode?

mmgrover

I found a way: Just remove the cell or cells with DVD-Remake Pro...

I wonder if its possible to remove dummy cells on the fly during rip in IFO mode, so that user doesn't have to worry about it?

LIGHTNING UK!

The next version unticks these cells by default.

Not sure if that's what you mean?!

Even better! :) (I just didn't know at what stage there were detected as dummy ones)

Did you mean to post the log for phonebooth then?

Only that log says nothing about structure protection!

Apologise

Got confused with "Possible RCE Protection Found"

But there is a 5ms delay in the stream info file, is it something to do with Audio sync problem.

Once again Apologise for my confusion

Thanks in advance

You do realize that a 5ms (i.e. 0.005 seconds) delay is a delay of less than 1/8th of a frame for a 24 FPS video? Even a delay of 1 full frame would be hardly noticeable, but 1/8th of that definitely isn't.
