Welcome hoy :)

Actually, you can do this in PgcEdit (http://home.tiscali.be/debie.roland/pgcedit/index.html), but I have only done this to limit the number of PGCs in a VTSM/VTST (i.e. if you want to get rid of the last few PGCs).

You need to bring up the console and use a special command. See here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=570406#post570406) for more details.

Be careful! Backup your IFOs first.

If you want to delete a PGC in the middle of a VTSM/VTST, the easiest thing to do is blank it with VobBlanker, or just delete the VobID with IfoEdit. If there are dummy PGCs that you don't want in the middle of a PGC then I'd just leave them - they do no harm.

Regards

P.S. @ rolz - it would be very nice if this could be a "utility". I know it's dangerous, but a suitable warning should be sufficient, n'est pas?

OK, OK...
I will add a simple interface to automatize the console trick.
But, as I've said elsewhere, the references to the deleted PGCs will NOT be fixed!

That's on our own heads rolz - we understand that.

If we are silly enough to delete a PGC that has cross references, then it's our own fault.

hoyanroy, for now the easiest way to do it is using VobBlanker - it'll do the trick no matter where the PGC is located in the VTST.

I second that! Thanks r0lZ!

@CoNS: We don't speak of the same thing. VobBlanker blanks the video of the PGC, it does not remove the PGC.

If you want to blank a PGC, you can use VobBlanker: it's his main purpose. You may also blank all PGCs of the current domain at once with PgcEdit.

I see your point. However, from the question it's a bit unclear if hoyanroy wants to completely remove the existance of the PGC or just blank the PGC, i.e. virtually remove it by reducing the size to 10 KB to save space on the disc. More often it's the latter that's in question, I think...

@hoyanroy: What? :confused:

Do you mean: How to center the subtitle?
In short: it's not possible! There are some programs (notably DVD-Fab) supposed to have this function, but most of the time, the subtitles will not appear at all anymore when played on a standalone.
BTW, could you change the subject of your first post to be more descriptive than "Help!" :readrule:

Hi guys!
I have the same problem. After ripping a dvd, and did god know what with it, I still have some pgc's left that I want to erase. Because I recompiled the dvd and shrunk it and ...whatever, I can not use vobblank. It doesn't open the vobs. Anyway I ran pgcedit and saw a lot of options, but I can't seem to find what I need. That is, remove PGC with all the info, video in it, etc. If someone has a slight ideea, pls let me know.
Thanks.

I can not use vobblank. It doesn't open the vobs. Then you have a bad compilation, try doing a "mock strip" in IfoEdit.

Thanks. You can right click on the PGC and select from one of the options available there. Or see "blutach's post" above to find the 'hidden option' to completely blank the PGC, just make sure to heed "r0lZ's" warning.
