I found .IFO files with RCE protection (from 007 You Only Live
Twice Region 4) that DVDDecrypter 3.5.1.0 using File Mode fail to patch.
I was carefull to use File Mode:
1. I select the right RCE Protection patch Region = 4
2. And under settings I checked Remove.IFO/.BUP RC Protection
and Remove .IFO/.BUP RCE Protection.
But the files copied to hard disk by DVDDectypter was not playable
When try to play from HD a warning say Incorect Region.
The only work around that works fine was to disable DVDdecrypter
Removal RC and RCE Protection, copy the files to the hard drive,
and than use the IFOEDT 0.888 RCE protection removal tool.
This IFOEDIT RCE removal TOOL works very weel.
I suggest you to review the DVDDecrypter RCE removal toll,
Cause it don't work with all RCE protected disc.
If you want I can send the .IFO files to you for an apreciation.

Yes, please do send them. Just ensure they're copied off the original disc using nothing but explorer.

Use the address in the programs 'About' box.

I have the same problem with most of James Bond classics Z4.

I think there's something weird with these DVDs, so I can't open them in my region-free Pioneer standalone (happily I have another standalone).

Sent the requested info lo Lightning, hope he can shed some light.

There is a 'jump' command in the IFO files that skips this RCE code. Your player probably doesnt support it.

The actual chunk of RCE code that DOES exist is in actual fact looking for '1' as the regional code value.

So ignore the RCE dialog box, go into the settings and manually select Region 1.

Then rip away.
