So the new QuEnc supports direct YV12 colorspace. Actually it only accepts it, no other colorspaces.
So, if I turn off the YUV conversion in the RB menu, will the AVS script (generated by RB) atomatically feed the video in YV12 format without any conversion?
This could be an advantage for the QuEnc when comparing to cinema craft encoder (that uses YUV as input colorspace, thus needing an conversion).
I guess still that the CCE gives better quality over the QuEnc, but at least we could use the original YV12 colorspace without conversion with QuEnc.
But, correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe the today version of CCE supports YV12 as well.
Anyone?
