Subtitles

If I'm watching a movie, and there happens to be a scene in the movie where people are speaking in a different language and they show subtitles to see what they're saying...are the subtitles included in the movie itself? i don't mean viewing subtitles throughout the entire movie...i just mean in one single scene.

i'm wondering because i'd like to just remove the subtitles from all of my backed up movies...but if removing the actual subtitle files means no seeing them in those specific scenes, i should probably just leave the english subtitles on...?

jup you should probably leave them in... occasionally those are hardcoded into the video, but most of the time they're saved as a seperate subtitle stream
