HTML guide (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/2cool/blanking_cell/blanking_cell.htm) hosted by r0lZ.

Disclaimer (Not included in the guide): When you perform this guide, a new blank cell is appended to your current PGC VOB(s). Therefore, your unwanted cell in which you have blanked out still exists. You didn't really cut down on size. You increased a little via the new cell. If you want to get rid of that particular cell, there is something you should be research beforehand. If the cell is a unique VOB/Cell ID...

e.g.

Cell 1: 1/1
Cell 2: 2/1
Cell 3: 3/1 (unwanted)
Cell 3: 4/1

...then you can use IfoEdit to remove that after using this guide.

If the cell is not...

Cell 1: 1/1
Cell 2: 1/2
Cell 3: 1/3 (unwanted)
Cell 3: 1/4

..then either you use

1) VidChanger, immediately before or after the guide, to change them to unique IDs. Look at Vidchanger's log for your new cell's ID and then perform IfoEdit VOB-ID stripping.

or 2) Use VobBlanker to blank the unwanted cell out.

Yet another nice guide 2COOL.

If I'm not mistaken, this method produces "unreferenced material". To save space, the user might like to run the whole title through VobBlanker afterwards, which automatically removes unreffed mats.

Whaddya think?

Yes, another useful guide, 2COOL.

However, as blutach also indicated in his reply, PgcEdit doesn't really blank the cell. PgcEdit only disables/kills the playback of the cell and instead plays the newly appended empty cell, whereas the old cell is still there in the vob.

So this method is only recommendable if you're not after saving space on your disc. Otherwise VobBlanker is the tool to use, as it'll replace the cell with a blank cell. Don't you agree?

I totally agree so I added that disclaimer in first post of this thread. ;)
