Is the PSL file Movie specific or general use?

I understand the concept of the res evil problem but not the PSL file

Do I need to get a new PSL for other movies I get or is this PSL an active file that works /w the program and any movie like this?

You get 1 PSL per film - that the program cannot automatically deal with.

AFAIK, only Res Evil 2 and Little Black Book need PSL files with 3.5.1.0
