The Bad Old GUI is Back With Yet Another Complicated and Hard to Use Release (http://dspguru.notrace.dk/BeSweetGUIv0.7b5.zip) for 2004 ;)

- Added SoundTouch Options to the SSRC Screen.
- Changed All Screens to Work With BeSweet.exe Only.

Have Fun :)

Nice to see that there's a progress in good old BeSweet GUI.

It seems that competition with Kurtnoise's Belight leads to better functionality.:)

...it's way better now when Nero's config dialig pops up before encoding. :)

Glad it Works for You filewalker :)

The More GUIs for BeSweet, the Better. That Way I Can Have More Rest, Knowing People Can Use Other Tools When I'm Not Doing Anything.

Let There BeLight,
I'll Sleep at Night ;)

Here is b6 (http://dspguru.notrace.dk/BeSweetGUIv0.7b6.zip)

nice

had a quick look and it seems that "-config" is always there before the other parameters, which shouldn't be

Greetings Danni,

We just have a case in the german Doom9 / Gleitz board, where a user really wants to use the LAME.EXE to encode MP3s with very special settings; we told him that the BeSweetGUI can be used, he just has to set up the location of LAME.EXE, and then the GUI supports all switches. But he could not do that, his GUI only accepts the BeSweet.exe...

Indeed, he used version 0.7 b8 already. And according to the history, since 0.7 b5 the support for different CLI encoders was canceled.

That may be the main reason that DSPguru still provides only version 0.7 b4 on his BeSweet page. And I don't understand that step either: What are all the encoder specific options good for, when the GUI does not support them anymore, but only BeSweet which uses DLLs that are limited to the green colored switches only?

If you have any chance, please try to re-enable the support for specific CLI encoders again. If not, users may be forced to keep both b4 and b8 for specific tasks.
