Hey guys, I'm having problems with resident evil 2. I used DVDDecryptor and she is all ripped on my HD, however when i try and use IFOEdit to play the DVD(without changing anything except getting vts sectors) ifoedit freezes whenever i click on widescreen or fullscreen to play the movie. I think it has something to do with the bad sectors that are placed at the beginning of each movie file but i dont know how to bypass it. Ive tried jumping past the warnings using the jumptt option but still freezes immedietaly. The movie is small enough so i dont need to create a d2v project and reencode, i just need the damn thing to play!! :) If anyone has any ideas or has done this already please let me know!

I think I have seen this problem reported at http://www.videohelp.com/forum ,
in fact, right here (http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=250352).

Ya know, I made this out to be harder than it really is. Rip the movie with dvd decryptor, strip your menu extras(to get rid of the opening crap before the movie) jump to root(to get rid of the very opening shit before the main menu), then just delete either the widescreen or the full screen version of the movie(vts2 is wide, vts5 is full) and burn the damn thing. she works just fine like that! I originally tried vobblanker and dvdshrink but found they are shit! imo anyways. dvdshrink brought the movie down to like 2gigs and had the poorest quality i have ever seen and i ended up wasting a dvd with it. Anyways, this is what i did and it works!

Funny how when someone doesn't know what they are doing they call the tools they were using shit!

Funny how when someone gives an opinion about something that happened, there always has to be someone to put their two cents in. I did not talk shit about one single person nor the creator of the programs used, i just gave my opinion on what it did in this instance. Do not tell me to "lighten up if i ever expect people to come to my aid....ever", because in fact I did not have an attitude about anything nor do I "expect" anything. This community is all about help, questions, opinions and how to get the job done better. Your post has nothing to do with any of that. That being said, have a nice day!

Can somebody send me the IFO files of this DVD please?
I will try to checkout why IfoEdit freezes.
