I upgraded to .70 and noticed that there was a new guide on doom9. It now recomends using DGdecode vs MPEG2DEC3DG.

I have always had my settings on
Bias: 10
Prec: 24
Passes: 5

It seemed to work well for me. I am using a new computer with new moniter but, the quality seems to have gone down since i have been using DGdecode.

Are the settings coherent in both decoders and are the settings I use sufficient? Or is this just because i have a nicer moniter. I am doing a dvd with both versions but was just wondering what the difference between the two (if any) is.

Thanks

Search and you shall find....:D

or if you don't want to... basicly DGdecode is the newer more accurate ver. of MPEG2DEC3DG and for me is abit faster.

Hope this helps
