No, layer break is flagged in IFO file. First cell of the second layer has a non-seamless playback flag.

thanks for the reply. i know about the seanless flag in the IFO but my project freez one cell before the layer brake and than jump to next layer (it skip a whole chapter).
i noticed on the original dvd that the freezing spot on my project used to be a layer brake on the original.
but i reauthor the whole dvd and added my own brake in scenarist, but it still freez on that spot.

Maybe the layer brake isn't placed correctly for use of dual layer dvd-r? I don't know if layer sizes are exactly the same between commercial dvds and dual layerdvd-r?

Maybe you can change the layerbreak one cell backwards and see if this is better?

Are you remultiplexing from the elementary streams in Scenarist, or just taken the old vob files? Layer break is more than a flag (actually, there is no flag, just a set of conditions that usually means layer break) - it also requires making the joint between layers non-seamless (one of the conditions). A non-seamless joint will pause no matter where it is physically.

thanks guys.
the thing is i used the origianl files from the original dvd (m2v and ac3)and when i created a layer brake in scenarist it gives me no error and make the cell non seamless automaticly. if i make a lyer brake in non currect place i get an error from scenarist.
so i definetly make the layer brake properly and the player switch layer currectly but as i said before : one cell before, the player jump to next layer, skipping a chapter.
i hope someone has an answer for this weerd problem.
thanks.
