inserting same video clip without double file size

hi,

i am authoring a dvd with episodes of an anime that have the same intro so i want to separate the intro and insert it the required amout to times, but scenarist duplicates the video clip and the file size.

i been looking around on how to do this but haven't been able to make it work

what i have done, is that i add the track in the diferent titles, and the add the episode, i end up with a working dvd but a lot of wasted space.

i have 2 tracks that repeats, the intro and the ending, they don't take that much space when used once, but there will be around 10 eps per dvd.

Did you create a separate VTS for each episode? If so, the intro will always be duplicated for each VTS.

If you put all the episodes into one VTS, then create only one intro track in the Track Editor and add it to each episode. Everything should work fine. Keep in mind though that you'll end up with non-seamless transition between the intro and the episode, which will cause a small pause during playback on a standalone.
