I'm currently shopping for a new AV program... and was wondering what everyone seems to be using...

I was using Panda Plat 2005 which works well however, can't handle XP's remotedesktop or switch user... it actually kills the running process and doesn't start a new one when someone RD's in.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is something that a) has frequent updates (daily or more), and has IMAP AV support for outlook express... That was the selling point on Panda for me... and of course supports XP's RD/Switch user :)

I tried bitdefender which seems to work very well but no imap :(

Avast (http://www.avast.com/) has imap support, it's free and has worked well for me.

AntiVir Personal Edition is free for personal use and it works fine.

www.free-av.com

It's very configurable, it's easy to update and it's always amongst the best av progs in tests. I don't know about IMAP support though

I am using Kaspersky Antivirus (http://www.kaspersky.com/). It has daily updates and I think its very good.I have run a test between Norton Antivirus 2005 and Kaspersky and NA2005 didn't find some trojans.

I use AVG Antivirus Free Edition (www.grisoft.com) - it's the best I've ever used, and it's free to boot ;)
