firmware update

[BRENDAAXSHARP]

while trying to update firmware for my hp 300n drive, the update says that i have a 300i drive, and aborts. nero ids my drive as an 300n.belarc ids my drive as 300n as does sonic record now. anybody have any ideas. thanks Brenda:confused:

but i doubt that it will report anything different...

anyway, you might wanna check www.rpc1.org - they're the experts in the firmware flashing field!
