Well I thought this problem has disappeared and hasn't encountered it for awhile now.

I checked the vsconv and vsrip and the files are dated Sept-10-2004 and Sept-01-2004 respectively. I think this is the latest one that came with scenaid 1.0.

I can provide the required files if I'm told what is needed. Thanks for the reply.

Please stop calling things a bug until we know for sure it's a bug...

why don't you try explaining your problem a little more so we know what files would be useful.....

note: I took the liberty to change the subject of this thread to be a little more descriptive

well problem is that a subtitle is displayed longer than it should be. That is very similar to the nostop bug that was prevalent in the versions before 1.0.

I checked the original DVD and the subtitle was displayed for the correct length of time. The reauthored DVD displayed the same subtitle 3 seconds longer.

UPDATE: I am terribly sorry, I just saw this tread over here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86920&highlight=subtitle+stop+scenaid)

I am not sure if I am talking about the same thing... I backed up Matrix Revolutions the other day and @00:53:00 there was a single subtitle which kept on showing for some time (3-4 secs or maybe more, until the next "frame"). I checked the Scenarist script and realized that there was no stop at this particular subtitle, as I origianally suspected. The rest of the movie was ok. It wasn't much of a problem because I manually entered a stop and now my copy is perfect.

The thing is... I might have the same issue for other movies too that I've backed up but not checked. So I need to be sure next time w/o watching the whole movie. I also noticed that there is a relevant option in "Advanced Options" in Scenaid, smthg about "Remove Stops..." which is already checked. If I unchecked this option (provided that my movie doesn't not use BOV) will I have any issues?

Finally, D3s7 please tell me if you need any files from that particular project, to help you solve any potential problems. I still have those scripts, but I plan to delete them soon enough.

I actually thought this was a feature requested by me :).

ps Jarthel: best way to upset a developer is calling everything a bug ;)
