Thinking of getting this burner

I currently have a Nu Tech 8X DVD+/- R/RW. It is awful!!! So, I am looking at the HP 630i. I have an HP system already, and have an HP CD burner. Have had no problems, so I am anticipating the same performance. Any thoughts>> Also, the HP 630i is a dual-layer burner, so where do I find inexpensive dual layer DVD's. Do the come in -R and +R?

I don't know about the HP 630, but I would choose among the NEC 3500, the LiteOn 1633, and the Plextor 716A.

Also, what is "inexpensive" for you. In stores I find Verbatim DVD+R DL for 9€, Platinum DVD+R DL for 8€, and Philips DVD+R DL for 10€.
You can order Ricoh DVD+R DL online for 5€.

Also, there is only DVD+R DL as a recordable dual layer DVD available.
