Ripped dvd to disk now it plays faster

I've got a dvd that seems to play fast. Like 30fps when it should be only 23.976. Any idea how i can slow it down?

looks like your player is ignoring the repeat-field flags.

what are you playing it with? and what did you rip with? it's possible that either the stream has been altered, and the flags removed (doesn't seem that likely to me), or whatever is decoding the video is messing it up.

hehe.. one of the reasons i prefer PAL :)
