hi. i'm currently looking to buy a new CRT tv,.
I was looking at a Sony 32" 100hz with built-in digital tuner, priced at £850.
But I found a display model (very lightly scrached on the edges, screen is still perfect) Toshiba 36" with similar specs but without a digital tuner. priced at only £900.
now the toshiba is a discontinued model, but it's still priced for about £1500 normally. and it's 36". but the Sony is a Sony and their reputation for CRT tvs is excellent.
also, the digital tuner. i've been told that the ones you buy seperately (i want digital tv btw) don't have the proper teletext (interactive) that digital is meant to have. is this true?
which tv should i buy?? not worrying about the price as the differenece is marginal and the sony probably needs delivery to be paid for anyway. any help is appreciated.
