Sorry gsharad007,

AC3 audio is not available in MP4.

That said, it should be possible to mux AC3 into the MP4 container as a "private stream" but as yet, nobody has designed any tools to do this and it's not known if any current media player would be able to decode it!

To convert 6ch AC3 to 6Ch AAC-LC or 6Ch AAC-HE I use Foobar2000 together with Nero's filters. But there are other tools such as BeSweet.

When it comes to Nero's settings, I tend to use AAC-HE at "Tape:Lowest". Which generates VBR bitrates around 128Kbps

gsharad007, plz make yourself comfortable with the rules again, which you signed when you joined the doom9 community

striked for violating rule 1 (not using search, this has been discussed a lot already and the sticky also answers the question), i could have also striked you for rule 12 (dont ask whats best, there is no best) but i dont want to strike you twice as you are a newbie
