Media Portal 0.1.0.0 beta point release has been announced!

Media Portal is a free open sourced multimedia-center software for; Media Portal turns your Windows PC in a very advanced HTPC (Home-Theatre PC) and PVR/DVR (Personal/Digital Video Recorder). It allows you to listen to your favorite music and radio, watch all your video's and DVD's, view, schedule and record live TV and much more.

PS! MediaPortal is XBMC GUI ported to Windows by XBMC co-founder Frodo
MediaPortal beats the cr*p out of Microsoft Media Center Edition, hehe

EDIT; I apploguise for the incorrect information, it's MediaPortal 0.1 (0.1.0.0) that's been released, (not MediaPortal 1.0), it's the first point release of MediaPortal. Again, sorry for the late news post too, I missed I didn't hear about this great news myself until today so therefore I'm posting news here now (even though it's one week old), ...just in case you all missed it too.

from their news:

IMPORTANT NEWS PLEASE READ THIS!

There are some rumors floating around about MediaPortal 1.0.

However this is very wrong, because as you can see below we just released 0.1. The current version 0.1 is not considered as the first stable release and it is definitely not final!

This does not mean the product is an alpha release! The 0.1 is considered a very nice and stable beta release, which everyone can and should test and help out to fix bugs and/or improve the product even further. And remember: it is free forever!

please change that in your post as it is indeed very misleading!

idd, it is rather a very early version.
Downloaded it and played with it for few hours now.
-Slow interface response
-Multi Tuner feature is very nice, but settings tend to get lost randomly.
-Not able todo recording, i have 3*Hauppauge 150MCE installed.

Have to say it looks really nice, but it still needs lots to mature.

It should support the ATI AIW. I know they have been working on the graph this last month.
