I'm looking at the Pocahontas DVD, I was looking to back it up before my kid kills my original. It appears the dvd is 7GB and too big. Yet there are multiangle files that seem to be gobbling up space (or at least that's what it looks like, the numbers only add up to 4.7GB witout the multiangle size) Anyway DVDShrink reports that there are three angles in VTS03. Thre are three angle listed in the VTS when I look at it with IFOEdit the first two multi angle points are at 2:02 and 5:09.

Yet, when I try to watch the move I can't figure out how to view the other angles. Even if they are seamless brances I can't figure out how to pick a different branch.

The disc does have some options that are interesting like "theatervision" or something like that for visually impared folks where the action is described over the movie dialog and audio.

I used DVD Shrink to save all the angles and they are different, but I can't SEE any difference.

Anyone know how I can figure out if angle 1 is what I want? And how to figure out what the other angle information is for?

THanks

If you can describe what options are available and what they do then maybe someone can help. Your dvd maybe extended branching( where the aditional material is non seamlessly played and usually stuck at the end of the .vobs).Or it might be multi angle( must be the same audio stream for seamless play). The tool DVD2Avi is what you may need. Decrypt the dvd onto your HDD then load up the movie VTS's(missing out VTS.XX_0.vob as that's the menu) and scroll thro' the move( with the ifo panel displayed. this will give you an idea if the movie is extended branching or not.

Oh do you know how to use Ifoedit? If so that will tell you( load up VIDEO_TS.ifo) how the dvd is structured( how many titles etc..)
