What DVD burner to buy

I have been scrounging the net, looking for a good burner. I have heard Plextor burners have features that other don't have, an because of this, they don't have problems ripping anything.

What is your dream dvd ripper/writer?

you should go and reread the forum rules. asking whats best is not allowed.

as for reccomendations on what are some good burners... well i like the pioneers myself(since i own one), very reliable. plextor are meant to be pretty good aswell though not exactly cheap last time i looked.

Plextor drives have been good years ago, but those times are over. Look at the corresponding thread in the plextor forum on cdfreaks to see what kind of mess plextor's latest attempt to make a dvd writer is...
